Kayne West is no stranger to shooting his mouth off, to making public displays with his stage shows, rapping controversial lyrics…and getting press for himself and his love Kim Kardashian.
Kayne claimed through his decidedly myopic view of the world that not only was his lady “the most beautiful woman of all time” but that model Kate Upton’s recent turn across the cover of Vanity Fair (when she was fashioned to look like Marilyn Monroe from the movie Some Like It Hot) was all wrong. Exactly how Kayne defines ‘controversial’ or if indeed dear sweet departed Marilyn ever was truly controversial is a matter for debate. It is nice that Kayne sees the mother of his child as truly so fetching but compare these facts of the two women and see if you agree with Kayne:
Kim K. came to prominence-post her celebrated sex-tape starring role-starring on the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (to name the first) and her endorsements…and the fact that she is, like Paris Hilton, a celebrity. Miss Monroe was a model then made her name as an actress, starring in such notable Hollywood offerings as How to Marry a Millionaire, Bus Stop and the afore mentioned Some Like It Hot (where she won a Golden Globe)
Yes, both ladies have been publically linked to or married to very high profile guys (or in high profile relationships), but for high profile can you beat M.M. hooking-up with the John F. Kennedy or marrying Joe DiMaggio?
Arguably she came before, but Marilyn Monroe by all accounts is considered one of the most recognizable fashion and beauty icons of the modern age, where Kim seems to flaunt current trends for publicity.
And physically the two women, while yes both celebrated for their curves, are drastically different. Hair color, facial structure, in every which way they do not compare.
